About Parksyde
Parksyde is a unique and special place.

Officially opened in August 2001, Parksyde is used for a wide range of activities, including meetings, concerts and other social events, as well as craft, hobby and low-impact sporting activities. Other services include a low cost cafeteria, hairdresser and library. For information, including times, dates and opening hours, click “What’s On” on this web site.

Established in 2000 to oversee the development of Parksyde, the Older Persons Community Centre Trust is responsible for the overall governance of Parksyde, while a Project Co-ordinator and Management Committee, made up of Trustees, the Project Co-ordinator and representatives from various user groups are in charge of the day-to-day operation of the Centre.

A joint venture between the Rotorua Energy Charitable Trust and the Rotary Club of Rotorua Lakes, this innovative and popular Centre is non profit making and is supported by a team of dedicated volunteers.
